Are these shelters movable?

Yes.  They are designed to be moved with your tractor.

Do I need to anchor my shelter?

Yes.  We highly recommend anchoring the front of these shelters to the earth.  High winds can blow them over if not properly anchored.  For a small additional fee, Sturdi-Bilt will anchor your shelter for you.

How long does it take to get my shelter?

Anywhere from two to four weeks from the time you order your building.  This depends on the size and add on options you choose for your shelter, whether it is in stock, as well as our current turnaround time based on volume of in-house orders.

How does my shelter get delivered?

We deliver to your site using a tilt bed trailer and mule.  The driver will unload the structure onto dolly wheels with flotation tires and the mule will maneuver the shelter into your desired spot.

How much space is required for delivery?

The amount of space is minimal.  The width requirement is approximately 14′.  The length requirement is 6′ on each end of the storage unit.  For example, a 24′ shelter will require 36′ of length.

Do I have to be present for the delivery of my shelter?

Yes, we recommend that you or a designated contact person be present at the time of delivery.

Is there any site preparation necessary?

The ground surface should be level, smooth, and firm.  We can deliver onto fill dirt if it has been properly packed.

What is the cost of freight for delivery?

Zero.  Our quotes include delivery to your site.

Do you deliver outside of Kansas?

Yes.  We deliver to the neighboring states.

Is sales tax required on these structures?

Usually.  This varies from state to state.
